The Amigo uses the body shape of the old “Scott Shortbass,” giving a happy look and perfect balance. I can make it mild to wild, from simple organic tool to a fancy-topped turquoise-embellished heirloom for a bit more. Either way, it’s the most versatile pocket bass around with its two humbucking soapbars - the same exact pickups and wiring used in the Birdsong Corto2 and C5s - and hand built by me in my Adirondack workshop. Tonally, it’s a little giant!
