Style B lined fretless “craftsman’s choice” fancy - dark with light accents and gold hardware. Koa on mahogany with ebony and turquoise; will get stained dark and buffed back. (Finishing)

“SPORT+” bass, upsized poplar & maple LEFTY lined fretless 29” scale tuned BEAD. Why not, right?

HEY! I just scored two planks of rough slabbed old pine from the town I’m in now - Mooers, NY! Barn dried, clear, tight grained “Mooers pine” enough for a few builds. (Jan. ‘26)

Here’s something! NOS Birdsong Companion…
Made the trip from TX to NY with me, uncompleted inventory build from ‘22 or so. This was the Birdsong 25.5” scale model right before the Sport - parlor acoustic influenced visually, with a single coil pickup for warm, mellow, woody goodness. This one is walnut bookmatched top and back, with a gorgeous back strip, mahogany body core and neck. I’ll be trimming it out with chrome and rosewood and getting it ready to fly. In the 9-pound range, sits and balances nicely. The last of its kind, with hand written papers I’ll provide.

And some nice bookmatched redwood out of California available to top something with. Wait ‘til the oil finish hits this - great color!
